Born in Brooklyn, New York. Joe was the captain of  the Hamilton College Basketball team. During his last season he led the team to the D-III NCAA Sweet 16. The club finished with a 23-6 record. Joe finished his career as a NABC First Team All-America and complied 1,612 career points. His playing career continued with a semi-professional club based out of NYC. The team played in several of the top leagues as well as traveling to Texas, Atlanta, Seattle, Boston, Guadeloupe and China.

Arriving to London in the fall of 2006 Joe searched for a team worth competing with. After lowering his standards he was fortunate enough to find Rocco's Raiders. Hopefully this season the lowering of standards will apply to some of the Rocco groupies as well.
